Record Keeping

1.

What documentation is provided to prove to my board that I completed the seminar?

A certificate of completion, documenting your PDH credits, will be issued either at the end of the seminar session or within one or two business days afterwards.

2.

Who is responsible for maintaining records of my PDH activities?

You are responsible for maintaining a record of your PDH activities.  You should save a copy of your seminar certificate of completion for your records in the event that you are audited by your licensing board.

3.

In the event that I misplace my certificate of completion, can I obtain another copy?

You can contact us to obtain a copy of your lost certificate of completion.

4.

Does a record of my seminar completion need to be sent to my licensing board?

The licensing boards do not typically require you to submit PDH completion certificates when renewing your license.  However, you may be required to list continuing education activities and you will need to provide a certificate of completion if you are audited by your licensing board.  Check with your board for your state requirements.

Florida and North Carolina are currently the only states that require a seminar provider to send course records to the state boards.  If you have indicated at the time of registration that you are licensed in Florida or North Carolina, a record of your PDH credit will be sent to the state board.
